This appendix provides installation instructions for the software accompanying the book and documents all scripts used to illustrate the various algorithms and methods discussed in the text. Future changes and updates can of course not be accommodated in a textbook appendix, so the latest version of the documentation can always be found at
By far the easiest way to use the software is to run it in a Docker container on your host operating system. For this all you need is the Docker Community Edition (Docker CE), which is freely available. It can be easily installed on Linux, MacOS and Windows 10 Pro or Enterprise.
