Summary
In this chapter we looked at a way of centralizing our logs with Logstash and Elasticsearch then browsing them in Kibana. We configured a metrics collection and visualization with the help of Prometheus, Telegraf and Grafana. Finally, we added monitoring via Prometheus and self-remediation using Jenkins.
The next chapter takes us into the area of optimization. We shall discuss cost considerations and approaches to demand-based scaling.
