Here, we are exclusively executing the release definition just to check approvals and application deployment in different environments. So we are not executing the build definition for continuous integration.
In new release, a list box is available to select the build definition, so the artifact created by the execution of the build definition can be utilized in the deployment process.
Select the last build executed successfully from the list and click on Create:
