So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Executing build definition
Let's execute our first build definition for the sample Spring based project—PetClinic.
Click on Queue new build.... Keep all the settings as they are and click on OK.
The queue suggests the agent selection that will execute the build definition. The Source Version is the changeset that needs to be used for execution. If no Source Version is given, then it will automatically take the latest changeset:
Build definition will be in a queue for a hosted agent. Once an agent is available, it will start execution based on the tasks defined in the build definition:
