For organizations that have previously deployed DirectAccess using Windows Server 2008 R2, Forefront Unified Access Gateway (UAG) 2010, Windows Server 2012, or Windows Server 2012 R2, migrating to DirectAccess in Windows Server 2016 can be accomplished in one of two ways.
