Getting Learners to Remember

Learners intuitively know that there’s something wrong with weeklong workshops. A great deal of material is covered, but when it comes time to apply the lessons, all those notes have turned into useless one-liners. This fact is not a startling new revelation; it’s been known since at least the 1930s. Take a look at table 7-1 to see just how long your learners will remember a lesson.
