Updates to the latest platform
The Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations platform consists of a kernel level binary as well as X++ metadata related to core functionality, such as batch framework, workflow engine, and integration layer. Since February 2017, platform updates are released on a monthly basis. The platform release includes any bug fixes for the previous platform and new minor features. The following are the three most important characteristics of platform updates:
