Setting up a cluster

In Chapter 7, Docker Swarm and Kubernetes- Clustering Infrastructure, you are going to learn how to operate Kubernetes, but it is worth teaching you how to set up a cluster in the GKE in this chapter in order to show how easy it is before diving deep into the core concepts of Kubernetes:

  1. First, go to Container Engine within Google Cloud Platform:

    • Create a new container cluster
    • Take the quickstart
