It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Summary
In this chapter, we have taken a look at the processes involved in importing and exporting integrations and packages and the reasons how you might want to perform such activities. With this, we have looked at the makeup of an .iar (integration archive) and .par (package archive). So, from here, you can see how to make local modifications and redeploy the changes. We moved onto the ICS API to understand how we can script or code, the means to control and manage our ICS instance. This led us onto the SDK and how to add custom adapters that can be used by ICS or even SOA CS.
