Chapter 37. Process Security
Business processes often encounter a number of issues related to trust—or the lack thereof. Comprising the subject of security, these issues include authenticating the credentials of a participant, checking that the participant is authorized to access a particular piece of information or a service, and encrypting information where required so that it cannot be observed by unauthorized participants. Security is an issue when either the participants must be sure who they are dealing with or there is activity that must be kept secret from unauthorized parties.
