Just as Glinda in the Wizard of Oz could not determine whether Dorothy was a good witch or a bad witch (or a witch at all!) simply by taking a look at her, just looking at a system architecture does not provide sufficient information for determining whether the architecture is good or bad. You need to examine the architecture in the context of its intended usage to draw such conclusions.
