Initial configuration
This chapter describes the first steps to configure the IBM SAN Volume Controller (SVC) system. It provides step-by-step instructions on how to create the cluster, define its basic settings, and add extra nodes and optional expansion enclosures.
Additional features such as user authentication, secure communications, and local port masking are also covered. These features are optional and do not need to be configured during the initial configuration.
