A Conceptual Framework for the Appraisal/Coaching Process
In order to get improved performance from appraisal and coaching, a continuous process is necessary. It can be illustrated by the following diagram.
The first step is to clarify what’s expected of the employee. This can be done by identifying significant job segments and developing standards of performance.
