4.1 Design Imagination: From Imagination to Ideate
Imagination is an important aspect of human thinking and is just as important to design. When we allow ourselves to imagine, we gain a visual abstract that can take us into a new direction where we can investigate new possibilities. A venture into the unknown is initiated by and begins with the imagination. An integral part of human thinking is the ability to develop a visual mental model that can be explored and expanded.
