Chapter 5. Context Menus
Context-sensitive menus, or just “context menus” for short, can help you save a tremendous amount of time by giving you just the features you need in a menu depending on what you click on—or, more specifically, what you right-button click (Windows) or Control-click (Macintosh). While QuarkXPress 4 has only one context-sensitive menu (in the Style Sheets palette), and XPress 5 has a bunch scattered throughout the program, InDesign offers many more features within the context menus.
However, rather than listing every context menu option, we’ve picked out some of our favorite timesaving options that you can use.
