Chapter 77. Using Graphics within a Table
What if you want to put a picture inside a table cell instead of text? It’s not impossible, though it’s not quite as easy to do as in XPress.
Pasting or Placing Graphics
The only way to get a picture into a table cell is to insert it as an inline (anchored) object. Once pasted or placed, it can be manipulated like any inline object. (We discuss what inline objects are and how to work with them in Chapter 69.) This is also true for placing lines, other tables, or any other object inside a table cell. Note, however, that you can also insert a table inside a table cell by choosing Insert Table from the Table menu.
