In Chapter 2, Transforming the Culture in an Organization, we learned about the key role that the culture of the organization plays in enabling industrial digital transformation. The culture of innovation and risk-taking can be a challenge for traditional organizations. The infusion of digital talent and leadership, often under the Chief Digital Officer (CDO) or its variant role, can ignite that cultural transformation and the organizational structure for a successful transformation.
