PLC Data Acquisition and Analysis
This hands-on chapter will help readers understand and appreciate the integration of a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) with a data acquisition system. Starting with the architecture and build of a PLC and moving on to the evolution of hardware from the 1960s, this chapter will shed light on the actual brain controlling the machines on a shop floor.
