Number of centre points per block (zero by default): If you use centre points you can determine if a model requires quadratic terms, or if instead only linear terms and interactions of order two are needed (for further information, refer to the chapter of response surface).

Number of replicates for corner points (one by default): Making replicas allows you to have an estimate of the standard deviation of the effects and perform tests of significance for each of them.

Number of blocks (one by default): If for some reason you are compelled to perform the experiments in different blocks (for example, in two days) enter here the number of blocks so that each experimental condition is assigned to one of these blocks (in this way, you will be able to interpret the results taking into account the possible effect of the block factor).
