This menu option only appears enabled if the worksheet contains a design of experiments matrix. Thus, either the option Create Factorial Design or Define Custom Factorial Design must have been used previously.

Consider again the first example of Chapter 26 where a design of experiments is carried out to improve the quality of the welding process performed in a stainless steel component, which is used in the production of exhaust pipes. The considered factors are gas flow, intensity and chain speed.
