First, an Example Scenario to Define the Task

Refer to Figure 19-2 on page 477 and consider the following scenario. It is assumed that all of the QPs pictured in both CAs are RD QPs.

On CA A, assume that three RD QPs (QP10, QP3, and QP6) each have WQEs at the head of their respective SQs. These three WQEs have the following characteristics:

  • The WQE currently at the head of QP10's SQ is a Send operation to send a message to QP5 in CA B using the RDC associated with local EEC1 in CA A.
