Information literacy has been the subject of intense interest in the educational library sector and a number of literature reviews have resulted. These reviews include: Bruce (2000) who explored the territories of information literacy; Bawden (2001) who considered the various approaches to information literacy; and more recently Corrall’s (2007) examination of information literacy in the context of higher education.
