5.1 PROCESSES
Most legal risks depend in quantity and importance on the company’s strategic and organizational choices. Operational risks, on the other hand, are inseparable from the company’s activities.
The relevance of the company’s activities is assessed by its financial results. To achieve its objectives, the company’s management optimizes or changes its business processes. Internal or external auditors analyze them to assess the risks. The main business processes for auditors are those of the following departments, whether or not they are support functions:
