I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

The textbook has primarily emphasized technology. In this chapter, the focus turns to the information side of IT. Specifically, the chapter examines the types of information that organizations store and utilize along with the software that supports information processing. The chapter then examines information security and assurance: the ability of an organization to ensure that their information is protected. Toward that end, the chapter describes numerous forms of attacks that an organization must protect against, along with technological methods of security information.
