Informed Systems approach
Abstract
Informed Systems emerged from over a decade of progressive development in North American academic libraries. Systemic processes for “learning in action” through information-focused and action-oriented information experiences illustrate that the systemic learning approach can advance workplace inquiry, improve professional practices and enhance local situations. Throughout a systemic leadership model guides participatory (re)design of requisite workplace systems, relationships and practices to contextualize inquiry and advance learning.
