Informix Dynamic Server For Windows NT
One of the first results of Informix's newly found commitment to Windows NT is the port of its workhorse database engine, Informix Dynamic Server to Windows NT 3.51 and Windows NT 4.00. This will prove to be a very good business decision on Informix's part as NT increases its market share in midrange computing applications. Currently, a large portion of Informix's customer base are running on various flavors of UNIX systems. Informix seems to have realized that they must support the upstart Windows NT operating system as it becomes more popular in their target markets.
