Combining data
In this chapter we discuss stages related to the combination of records. Records can be combined both horizontally and vertically. For horizontal combination (that is, fields values from multiple records from various input links, related through a common key, are combined into a single record image) there are three standard stage types available, Lookup, Join, and Merge.
