Infrastructure and Nature: Reciprocal Effects and Patterns for our Future

NATURE … the patterns and processes beyond human control … is the giant on earth, daily nurturing and periodically perturbing us. We in turn create an extensive infrastructure … the basic framework and facilities servicing people on the land … with linear features reaching almost everywhere. Nature affecting infrastructure, infrastructure affecting nature … titanic interactions not to be missed.
