Chapter 8 Preparing Your Pitch – The Story
The objective of a pitch is to convince investors that you have an opportunity they cannot miss. The investor will look at the extent to which your project can enable him to achieve his performance objectives. It's up to you to demonstrate that you are well-aligned with their needs and that the entrepreneurial project you are proposing corresponds well to the investment fund's timing and investment strategy.
In summary, if during your pitch you are thinking “give me money!”, don't forget the investor will be thinking “give me some performance!”
