Abstract

The automotive industry is entering an era of transformative change, a key element of which, is the increasingly rapid uptake of electric vehicles (EVs). The prospect of battery-powered electric vehicles (BEVs) becoming both a major power consumer and part of a new distributed supply source is, therefore, a critically important planning issue for power utilities.
