Abstract

New technological developments have rendered traditional tariff structures obsolete and may induce socially undesirable decision-making. On the other hand, they also bring their own solution, in the guise of advanced tariff structures made possible by smart meters. The main goal of this chapter is to propose such a dynamic, “real-time” access tariff methodology.
