Chapter 21

Entrepreneurship Indices Relevant Macroeconomic Data

Abstract

In this chapter, we provide an overview of work done to date by others to measure and quantify entrepreneurship. We review these innovation and entrepreneurship indices, as well as relevant macroeconomic data. The ultimate goal, which we will defer to future work, is, of course, to be able to use a model such as the one discussed in the previous chapter and relate that to a time series of entrepreneurship data and key macroeconomic factors.
