10. Portfolio Management
The FOAK program is fortunate in the number of promising proposals it attracts, but its resources are not unlimited. Earlier chapters detailed the project selection criteria and the role of the FOAK Board in making the initial investment decisions to approve 20 to 25 projects annually. This chapter looks at how the program as a whole is managed. In particular, it looks at the work involved in maintaining the program in a way that makes it vibrant, diverse, and valuable to its stakeholders.
