“It’s interesting,” said David.
“What?”
“You know, just comparing your company against mine.”
Peter was increasingly aware of what David had been doing all evening, while consuming copious amounts of alcohol.
“I noticed you are doing that,” said Peter. “Don’t you think that’s a bit presumptuous and simplistic?”
“What do you mean?”
“I mean you are trying to connect how my team goes out to drink and dresses to how well my company is doing. Surely there is more to running a business than that.”
“It’s just a reflection Peter, a reflection of the cultures. That’s what I am noting,” said David. “It’s just an interesting window into the soul of our companies.”
