Using Layer States
A very useful feature, familiar to Express Tools users, is Layer States. This feature enables you to save and restore “layer states” as well as export a given state to a file that can be retrieved later or even imported into another drawing.
Often while working with your drawings you will need to go beyond the saved filters method of restoring a pattern of displayed layers. In this section you will discover the power of the Save State feature and its companion, the Layer States Manager.
