Using Object Snaps and Point Filters

Drawing a line in three dimensions is relatively easy if you type in the coordinates for the endpoints of the line, rather than picking those points with a mouse. However, typing in points is not overly intuitive and can become tedious very quickly. To get around this, you need to make use of AutoCAD’s drawing aids—in particular, object snaps and point filters.
