Using the FILLET and CHAMFER Commands
Although true solids editing capabilities were introduced for the first time in AutoCAD 2000, AutoCAD has allowed adding fillets and chamfers to solids since Release 13 using the standard “2D” FILLET and CHAMFER commands. To fillet or chamfer the edges of an AutoCAD solid you simply execute the FILLET and CHAMFER commands, respectively.
The following exercise shows you how to use the FILLET and CHAMFER commands to edit the edges of a solid model of a phone handset.
