Editing Solids
Just as with all other AutoCAD objects, after you create solid objects you may want to edit them. Prior to AutoCAD 2000, editing solids inside AutoCAD was, at best, moderately difficult and often impossible. If, for example, in Release 13 or 14 you needed to decrease the diameter of a circular bore into a solid, you needed to first fill in the current bore and then re-bore by subtracting another cylinder with the smaller diameter. This was hardly solid editing, but rather re-doing your work.
