Basic RDP Client Installation
Terminal Server provides clients for the following versions of the Windows operating system:
Windows 95/98 (32-bit client)
Windows NT 3.51/4.0/2000/XP (32-bit client)
Windows for Workgroups 3.11 (16-bit client)
Internet Explorer 4.x, 5.x and 6.x (downloadable ActiveX client)
Windows CE (downloadable CE client)
The Microsoft Terminal Server client uses the RDP protocol to communicate with the server. Because RDP runs only on top of TCP/IP, you need to have that protocol set up on your clients before installing Terminal Server.
