Using Profiles for User Desktop Management

As you saw with the All Users profile, profiles can be a powerful way to manage user desktop environments. However, the problem with the All Users profile is that changes to it affect all users simultaneously. If you have more users in your environment who use desktops than published applications, the need for more granular desktop administration capabilities will surely arise. For example, you might want to add a shortcut to just a few user desktops or Start menus rather than All Users.
