Managing Printers with the Citrix Management Console
MetaFrame XP has a great many improvements when it comes to printer management capabilities. These improvements are all part of the new Citrix Management Console. Using the CMC, you can perform the following functions:
Create driver mappings What used to take manual editing of a printer driver matching file can now be done through the GUI interface of the CMC. You can centrally add driver matchings to the entire Citrix server farm in one step.
Create printer mappings for DOS and Win CE devices Using this new functionality, you can assign a particular printer to a DOS- or Win CE-based device and assign the port to be used.
