Installing and Using Resource Manager with MetaFrame XPe
Included with MetaFrame XPe is a very important performance monitoring tool called Resource Manager. Using Resource Manager, you can closely monitor the resource usage of not only all the servers in your farm, but also individual applications. Much like Performance Monitor, you can use Resource Manager to monitor and log various Performance Monitor counters available on your Citrix MetaFrame server. In addition, Resource Manager enables you to receive either a pager, email, or SNMP alert when any monitored counter exceeds a settable threshold. Unlike Performance Monitor, you also can set alerts for counters when they exceed a particular threshold over a specified period of time.
