Getting Adjacent and Conflicting Calendar Items

Calendar users are usually looking through their calendars for one of two reasons: 1) to see what is on their schedules for today, or 2) to see if there is some time available on their calendar to squeeze in more appointments. There are four properties on calendar items that can help users in this.

Imagine that your application allows a user to click on any appointement from the day. When your application calls the GetItem Web method to get the associated calendar item, it can request additional properties that not only indicate the count of, but also some details about any other calendar items that are adjacent to or in conflict with the calendar item that is being requested.
