Risk-Assessment Terminology

In the previous chapter, the basic elements of risk in an IT infrastructure were identified as assets, threats, and vulnerabilities. Assets typically are items of quantitative or qualitative value to an organization. This can include computers, network equipment, hardware, software, applications, and data assets.
