Using PowerShell to Automate Administrative Tasks
Although Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 and Office SharePoint Server 2007 are not directly integrated with Microsoft Windows PowerShell, it is still possible to use PowerShell to automate administrative tasks in both products. This is possible because of the tight integration in PowerShell with .NET Framework objects, allowing you to load .NET Framework assemblies, instantiate objects, and call methods on these objects.
