Conclusion

The book project began with the twin goals: to make visible exceptional female academics and, at the same time, to learn from them about diverse ways to find career success. The conversations here have illustrated a wide range of career experiences, journeys, and insights. What I had not anticipated in the early stages, was being introduced to the vast scope of cutting-edge research fields, where these women contribute new insights, innovations, and policies to academia and to society.
