I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Conclusion
The book project began with the twin goals: to make visible exceptional female academics and, at the same time, to learn from them about diverse ways to find career success. The conversations here have illustrated a wide range of career experiences, journeys, and insights. What I had not anticipated in the early stages, was being introduced to the vast scope of cutting-edge research fields, where these women contribute new insights, innovations, and policies to academia and to society. Over time I heard about research being conducted in specialisms such as multiferroics, attosecond science, bioethics, the interactive geometry behind computer graphics, research on wound repair, cloud formation and its impact on climate, epigenetics, ...
