The A Level (Advanced Level) A subject-based qualification conferred as a part of the school leaving qualification offered by educational bodies in the United Kingdom. Obtaining A Levels, or equivalent qualifications, is generally required for university entrance, with universities granting conditional offers based on grades achieved.

Abitur A qualification granted by university-preparatory schools in Germany, which is conferred on students who pass their final exams at the end of their secondary education, usually after 12 or 13 years of schooling. It is the equivalent of a Matura or the International Baccalaureate.

Assistant Professorships Usually appointed to young academics who are 35 years or under at the time of appointment. ...
