The Grand Tour

For the beginner, Sound Forge® is a straightforward program. Recording is as simple as pressing a button or two. Editing is akin to word processing with sound. and the program makes extensive use of the Windows GUI meaning many operations are drag and drop affairs and common keyboard shortcuts are those you may already use daily in other programs. Of course, the program is highly visual so you can see and hear what you are doing at every step of the way.

Learning the basics of this program takes minimal effort. Once you record a few things and edit a couple of projects, you’ll have the basic functions down. Then, you can explore the other options available to both make your work better and improve your efficiency.
