Time to start building your project by adding media to the Timeline, creating audio and video tracks, and discovering the basic editing techniques.
Though video and audio reside on separate tracks, the software treats them equally as events. And as events, the principles discussed in this chapter apply whether it is a video or audio event. Where they differ, it will be so noted.
Adding Tracks and Media to the Timeline
