More Editing Wizardry
Beyond the basic editing procedures are a variety of tools that bring many creative possibilities to your projects. These include effects, compositing, picture-in-picture looks, movement on stills, and more.
Effects (FX)
FX fall into two categories: utility and creative. Generally, utility effects fix something wrong with your video or audio. Creative effects typically take your project to a new level, lending artistic qualities to your video. However, some effects can be used both ways.
Video Effects
Place video effects on tracks, individual video events, or the project as a whole.
Movie Studio Users: Video FX apply only to individual events and the project as a whole.
